I stayed up way too late finishing this book. I couldn’t pry myself away. There was suspense, action and characters with crackling sparks of chemistry. The lead couple were easy to like and to emotionally connect to and care about. The secondary characters were quirky originals who seemed always good for a laugh – they all balanced each other out, and i enjoyed their world. The story was well plotted, fast paced and full of twists, turns and surprises. I look forward to the rest of this excellently written series, based on the quality of this book.
